Privacy Policy

Minosin AB ("we", "us", "our") is a Swedish company registered in Stockholm. We operate GTD Brain and are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, why, how it is shared and secured, and how you can control it.

What We Collect

• Email address — provided when you sign in (a one-time code is emailed to you). Used to sign you in, sync your board across devices, and send subscription notices.
• Your content — the tasks, notes, projects, and lists you create (Inbox, Next, Projects, Waiting For, Someday). Stored so your board syncs across your devices.
• Subscription status — if you subscribe to GTD Brain Pro, we receive your purchase and renewal status from the app store so we can unlock Pro features. We never receive or store your card details.
• Voice input — if you use voice capture, speech is transcribed on your device and only the resulting text is saved as a task. We do not record, store, or transmit your audio.
• Diagnostics — anonymous crash reports and basic device/app info (via Firebase Crashlytics) to help us find and fix bugs.
• Usage & interaction data — analytics about how the site is used (page views, device type, approximate location) and, via Microsoft Clarity, anonymized session recordings and heatmaps (clicks, mouse movement, and scrolling). Text input is masked by default; this data is used in aggregate to improve the experience. Clarity sets cookies to measure usage.

How We Use Your Data

• To provide the service — store your board and sync it securely across the Android app and the web.
• To manage subscriptions — verify your purchase and unlock GTD Brain Pro features.
• To improve the service — aggregated, anonymous usage statistics help us understand how the service is used.

Storage & Access

Your data is stored securely in Google Cloud Firestore, hosted in the EU, and encrypted in transit. Access controls ensure that:

• Only you can access your board and tasks.
• We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Third-Party Services

• Google Cloud / Firebase — secure data storage (Firestore) and crash diagnostics (Crashlytics).
• Google Play Billing & Stripe — to process subscription payments. We do not store your payment details.
• Microsoft Clarity— session replay & heatmaps that record interactions (clicks, mouse movement, scrolling) to help us improve usability. Text is masked by default. Provided by Microsoft, acting as a data processor; it sets cookies.
• Analytics — for anonymous usage statistics.

Your Rights (GDPR)

Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation, you have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of all data we hold about you.
• Rectification — correct any inaccurate data.
• Deletion — request that we delete all your data. We will comply within 30 days.
• Portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
• Objection — object to certain processing of your data.

Data Retention & Deletion

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You can request deletion at any time by emailing minosinab@gmail.com, and we will delete your personal data within 30 days. Anonymous, aggregated analytics data may be retained indefinitely.

Children

GTD Brain is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
